I can relate mate... Anyone looking at my iPod would assume I have split personality disorder!

I can go really heavy like thrash metal, hardcore punk, old punk too... But then I have all the old crooners like Bobby Darin, Franky Ol' Blue eyes etc...

And that doesn't include my collection of classical musical...

Old school jazz like Dizzy Gillespie, John Coltrane, Miles Davis and Duke Ellington...

Jazz these days is incredible, best it's been in decades

Jazz has always been/ should always be punk, but that was lost in the late 70's/80's

Yep that defo works for me but as @coollino says there is some great new Jazz out there too that isn't necessarily avant guarde
