What are you currently listening to?


lost me after this album...it was fun while it lasted, though. Should have been on Ten, along with Animal and Dissident; wouldn't be surprised if they were all leftovers from that album that they just worked on more. fun as all hell to play on the drums...whack-a-mole feel.

I'm here for the Hammond organ, but there's a video available on the YouTube which features a topless all women group 'playing' this tune in a sleazy Stockholm nightclub in the 1970s - if you're interested in sleazy Stockholm nightclubs in the 1970s that's the video.

 



I think this album has an outside shout as Paramores best album.

Imagine thinking that you've just completed emo and pop punk and then deciding to make a trojan horse of an album with lyrics of Hayleys mental health issues to the soundtrack of the happiest sound known to man. 80s synth pop.

Hayley Williams is an absolute star, man.
 


Gerron these if you like a bit of post-punk, or anything remotely Sonic Youth/Idles.

Singer is phenomenal. Spoken-word almost, rambling through the cacophony of sound that's going on behind her.
They'd be superb without a vocalist, but she adds a whole other dimension - and a quirky one at that!
