hearing this belter back in 1994 convinced me to buy the Holy Bible cd...what a classic that turned out to be. Britrock's 2nd-greatest album of the 90's.

Quote is from Orwell's 1984, got shivers reading that line in the book for the first time.

"blocked in Germany"...what was it?

Still one of the the best club records going.

This instrumental number still gets airplay at techno-festivals:

Dare and Travelogue are fantastic albums.

All the lads in one line and all the girls in another line, facing each other when you danced lol

Every time you ancient toe-rags speak about this I imagine scenes like this...

This sounds mad, but when lads and girls who could dance, got up facing each other and danced, all decked out in really top notch casual gear, it really was an impressive sight to watch.

The North End lads and girls, where the kings and queens of the dance floors in Liverpool at that time.

I‘m from the South End, so never got a look in !

Closest I got to a dance off was a pissed up night in Cancun when I was 18, bunch of Texans break dancing in Senor Frogs.
I thought I'd dance for Knotty Ash and faceplanted my lower mandible through my upper lip.
