What are you currently listening to?

I have surprised myself with my collection and enjoyment of the NOW Yearbook series. I haven't bought a compilation in my life, but for some reason I have found these irresistible. It's nostalgia, but also part of my recent bid to preserve things I loved (such as movies and football matches) on physical media before it is finally streamed into oblivion.

Bob Dylan's the only one still alive from that group, right?

Tom Petty - RIP.

George Harrison - RIP

Roy Orbison - RIP

Did I miss anyone?

Bob must be pushing 90 now and he's still going!

I suppose it doesn't matter. It's hard to hear him singing when he's live.

He can probably just mash a bunch of incoherent words together and no one will notice the difference.

Heard this song playing somewhere in the last week.

Been stuck in my head ever since.

I forgot how good it was.

Jeff Lynne is still alive, as is the guy who drummed on their tracks, Jim Keltner.

Thats what you call two ends of the spectrum right there. Siamese dream is quite the album.

Billy Corgan was actually quite talented. Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness was also a huge effort!

It's just too bad that his ego got the better of him towards the end.

Out of the 3 early 90's alternative rock bands that made it big: Nirvana, Pearl Jam and The Smashing Pumpkins, Billy was the only one that embraced fame and being in the limelight... Out of the other 2 front men, Kurt Cobain was too destructive to be in it and Eddie Vedder shunned it. ?‍♂️

Well, that's my assessment of it how it all went down! :D

And now Billy has no more hair and he looks like a giant baby!
