Ah, this song was top of the charts when we visited England in 1977. I was 10 yrs old. I loved the Everton team of that period - Latchford, Thomas, King, Mckenzie, Ross, Pejic, Wood..... Went to a bunch of games, the most memorable 6-0 vs Coventry.



I get a bit nostalgic as I get older. This transports me back to a wonderful holiday, a different time & a different world.

Ahhhh... To have flawless perfect pitch and play any instrument at command. I would kill for that!

Well, there is hope for us. You know how some people suffer major head trauma, go into a coma or something and when they come back, they're musical savant's?
