Very underrated as a band.

Absolutely. Loved them then and love them now. And I listen to a ridiculously wide genre of music but they always pull me back in. Paddy got me into big trouble though. They were playing in Liverpool in the 80s ( Jordan the comeback tour )and I promised my now Mrs J we would go to Chinatown afterwards. However the encores were so long and I refused to leave that we never made it. Funnily enough she reminds me about it constantly

Became obsessed with this song.....still listen to it today. Punky jingle jangle pop at it best.

The acoustic anniversary version took it to another level. I've often said MacAloon is on a par with Shelley and Keats as a wordsmith. Undeniable genius
