I`m gutted to be missing their one and only UK gig in five years at Twickenham, but at Ā£350 quid a ticket, plus travel, an overnighter, food and ale, I just can`t justify that sort of money.
Completely understandable, though its a shame. With just Dave and Martin left you have to wonder how much longer they're gonna go on.
I've got all my appendages crossed that The Cure get another UK tour soon so I can see them for the first time in case anything happens to their members.
Evening everyone. Had a trip to Southport today to buy some vinyl. A couple of Mike Oldfield and a Benny Certer and Kenny Burrell but this Stan Getz, The Steamer is the pick of the bunch. A quick clean and it sounds flipping wonderful. Recorded in 1957 , 3 years before I was born and still sounds fresh as a daisy
