Been following this lad since that 'Hi Ren' track blew up on YouTube earlier in the year.
His new album has just got to number 1 in the UK, which is an incredible achievement considering he is a completely independent artist, he's not signed to any label at all. Virtually no radio stations have picked up his music and he's been in Canada for the past year getting treatment for the severe auto immune effects of a long bout of misdiagnosed Lyme disease meaning he has not been able to tour at all for years and even had to turn down Glastonbury this year.
He's literally built up all his hype from putting out his music on YouTube.
Rapper, singer and multi instrumentalist and produces all his own tracks.
Listening to the album, some of the hip hop tracks are a bit meh, but he's really in his element when he does these Bard like 'stories within a song' pieces.
He's a genuinely unique and interesting artist imo.
