Yeah it was just before Davey and Jade got obsessed with the 80s and electronic music which they went on to throw in from Burials onwards and in there side projects. Have you listened to Dreamcar or Blacq Audio? Dreamcars their side project with the rhythm section of No Doubt which is ace and the other is a full on electronic side project.
Haven't listened to Maiden since I was in my mid-late teens so it's been like 30+ years and feels a little weird but they came up on my music app shuffle so I got a little nostalgic and reminisced. Slappa' da' bass with Steve Harris.

Played the new Linkin Park record a few times now and I keep coming back to the above track. I mean, Chester is irreplaceable, but there's some enjoyable nuggets on the record like above.
Yeah you may or may not like it, Davey Havok is just one of them artists I can't judge neutrally as I'm heavily biased because I've liked EVERYTHING he's done.
Got to say, I`m very impressed with what I`ve heard from Emily Armstrong so far.
