This album kind of flew under the radar here in the US so I'm sure it was less heard about in the UK. Easily, my second favorite album of 2024 (after the fantastic 'This Could Be Texas' by English Teacher). However, Kim Deal is certainly a well known name - she has been fabulous her whole career and this is just a beautiful album....with MANY surprises compared to her back catalogue. I've linked the whole album....5 standout tracks....the first three are all wonderful....Disobedience and Summerland are my favorite.

The Dudley Moore Trio. I listen to them a lot now. Moore was a genius at the piano. His own compositions were the best ones like Song For Suzy or Robyn's Blues.

In my opinion, his comedic career held him back. But he had problems.
