There's a reason I'm not touching that thread. I've got a million opinions buzzing around my head, but it's a minefield of epic proportions.

And I am sorry if I caused you any offence when suggesting it wasn't a good idea to talk about your relationship on here, but I do stand by that. I kind of feel it isn't any of our business, and as much as everyone seemed to enjoy the thread, I didn't see how it could help you, him or your relationship.

That's fair enough like and I actually agree with you.

But still, no need to keep going on about it like....'cause THAT won't help either :)

My decision isn't about that anyway, it's about people winding me up with their close mindedness. If one person says something, loads more jump on them and it's like "whaaat?"

I just don't think a forum is my kinda place.

That is a staple feature of forums; anonymity really does allow people to throw caution, respect and politeness to the wind.

But, I think you're being harsh on GOT. I've been on a lot of forums, and the community here is really quite spectacular. Opposing opinions aplenty, but bar a few posters, everyone takes other opinions on board.

And other than the relationship thread, what negative responses have you ever gotten, Helen? Most people love you to bits on here, so you'd be doing no one a favour by quitting. That said, it's just the internet. If you ever find your time on here to be anything less than enjoyable, then you'd be right to leave, for your own sake! It is indeed only the internet.

I never said it was anything to do with GOT as a whole, I said it was just a few people who - haven't necessarily been negative to ME as such, just the way they are and it winds me up. I personally don't think I've done anything wrong by saying this here, at least I haven't started my own "I'm leaving GOT" thread for a bit of attention.

I just stated my thoughts, but of course, I cannot do that.

I just don't think a forum is my cup of tea, that's all.
