Must admit, much prefer the older standards, Sinatra, Como, Nat King Cole. Andy Williams etc to the ‘modern’ stuff, however… Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas is usual sang as dirge.Given the title you’d expect something g more jolly and uplifting
 
I quite like them all. They remind me of working in Woolworths on Saturdays as a teenager where all of those songs were played on repeat from about the middle of November

Happened to me years ago, a video game store, if it wasn’t the constant sound effects from the console demo kiosks it was the shop opposite blasting out All I want for Christmas for the 23rd time that day
