haha, just given my Ipod alarm thing a test drive and it's ace 
Sound quality is awesome. You set the alarm, then stick your Ipod on the top, making sure that the song you want is selected. Then when it's the time you've set it comes on quietly, then gets louder every 5 seconds until it's pumping out really loud. Should wake me up anyway

The Bose is [Poor language removed] AWESOME. It is really, really good. The sound quality is top-notch. My Bose Tri-Port headphones are also top-notch. The (very expensive) Bose Cube surround sound system is top-not.
Pretty much Bose are great. There are tons of brilliant speaker makers out there though.

your into cars, why do bellends with more money than sense make a big deal about the size of their subs/tweaters etc
accoustimas make good corner speakers, and the 5.1 system is nice (good sub) but, they definately need help with front left and right for the midrange, because quite simply, it isnt there.
good lifestyle system, not the best for sound purists.
