I honestly think we needed was a shakeup and this is what that look’s like.Just looking for a solution, just like you, can't stand the way we're heading.
I know, just a shame its not a blue to do it.I honestly think we needed was a shakeup and this is what that look’s like.
If the culture is always blame the manager and the rest of us are immune then the staff have no reason to ever even want to changeI know, just a shame its not a blue to do it.
No.Have you seen the pedigree of some ex Hibs managers?
McLeish, Butcher, Nicholl.
I like Dunc. I don't think keeping Dunc at the club in some capacity is wrong. He did not show enough in the games he was interim for me to say he could step in and manage a PL team without seasoning in the lower leagues first at the very least.
Playing harder than the other team to the extent we did in that Chelsea game is not a sustainable strategy. We were poor in the other two and scraped draws. It wasn't going anywhere. It won't until he gets real experience and it still might not afterDidn't lose to Chelsea, United, and Arsenal. Picked up 5 points and conceded 2 goals. Lost to Leicester on penalties in the League Cup after coming back from 2 down.
All this on the back of a derby hammering. Got the team to put in more tackles in 1 game than any team since 2016, most the team had made in a decade. Started Dom and Richy off him. Pulled off playing Holgate as a auxiliary DM...
Personally...he did more than I thought he would or could. Mainly cos he knows the players inside out and deep down...he wants the manage.

Yer ma, by the sound of things. What does Duncan Ferguson actually do?
Better or worse than China, would you say?Surely nobody has suggested Scottish managers ???? Mickey Mouse league.
I'd prefer we didn't bring someone in like Lampard or Rooney where there would be an expectation of time that they haven't proven they deserve. So maybe Dunc is preferable but also preferable for me is just keeping Benitez until a real option emerges.More down to Silva's conditioning and I wouldn't say we scraped draws.
But again, it's purely wishful thinking. But I do feel it wouldn't be a huge stretch to give him the job and he'd do well, especially if people are throwing Lampard about.
