Ironically, I work for what would be considered a Wall Street firm.

However I work on the retail side (I work with individual clients) rather than institutional type of stuff so my work entails helping people with their overall financial plan and making sure their investments are in line with their goals, objectives, and risk profile. Most of the people on my side of the industry do a very good job for the folks they work for but there are always a few idiots who put their own pocketbook first rather than their clients first.

Those people get weeded out (for the most part) fairly quickly.
