Neither would I and I fell in love with Goodison Park at first sight and loved Everton before I ever saw them.???I was only five, cant remember a thing about the game, just remember being in awe of Goodson and this “Everton thing”my old fella had indoctrinated into me since birth, and for all the you know what,I wouldn’t change it for the world?
Oh ffs I forgot about that.Add to that the Clive Thomas semi
Yeah becuase nobody else has ever done anything bad for the clubs future in Evertons boardroom it's ALL kn himThe day Kenwrong walked into that Boardroom, I didn't get the logic at the time and by God we have paid for it since
Agree.Yeah becuase nobody else has ever done anything bad for the clubs future in Evertons boardroom it's ALL kn him
Exactly this, I have no expectations. Is this good or bad? With Everton, surely the only answer is, tomorrow.
Plenty before that mate,Clive Thomas led the way.Villarreal away and Colina
first proof that there was an actual conspiracy against us
Yes. Coleman also had one.Losing to that lot in the semi final when Andy Carroll scored the late header was bad, as we were the better team on form and league position. It felt 10x worse knowing we’d always be typical Everton than losing an FA Cup semi. I didn’t speak for about 9 hours after it.
The Wigan 3-1 loss in the quarter final when half the team appeared to down tools.
Another typical Everton when we bottled top 4 and Alcaraz scored an own goal away to Southampton (did we score 2 that day?),
Special mention for the league cup semi against Chelsea in 2007, as it was before the aforementioned disasters and at that point I thought Everton could possibly not be the world’s biggest source of misery.
HI, Prenno.Yeah becuase nobody else has ever done anything bad for the clubs future in Evertons boardroom it's ALL kn him
Good call. One of mine was the Wednesday game from the season before. In fact, I had to double check, this wasn’t the same game as I remember Carbone outclassing everyone (like DICanio did the season before- both at home near end of the season). Thankfully, Campbell hit great form after this defeat, to keep us up…the season before no one hit good form but somehow we stayed up.Everton 1 Sheffield Wednesday 2.
1999.
Only player fit to call themselves a professional footballer was Benito Carbone who scored twice.
Awful ugly game. Terrible.
