What is up with Dele Alli?

I don’t have a strong opinion on which option we should choose but it’s mad we have a guy in the building training with the squad day in day out for months, who must have gained close knowledge of his team mates and the tactical work (ha!) being done, a guy with 37 England caps, and he can’t even step in at a moment of crisis because he’s not an Everton player.

Either he is participating well in training and on a par with the rest of the team, in which case just give him a contract and let him help us instead of us just helping him, or he isn’t in which case let him leave and find a team at a more appropriate level instead of being a burden in our training sessions.

It’s such typical Everton to just bumble along doing neither.

Cant we move this world football yet?
I think this has got to the point where everyone - the fans, the club, Dyche, Dele - needs to forget about him in terms of being a football player again, certainly for Everton. If he needs support to get back to fitness, ensure he's in the right mental state to move forward on his own, then I don't mind the club helping him with that within reason, but I think it's pointless and futile to think of it in terms of anything more than that at this point. Maybe things will change at some point and we'll all get a pleasant surprise, but that should be all it is to anyone now - a possible future pleasant surprise, and a human being just trying to recover from some serious injuries and mental health issues.

Honestly if he's proven himself to be fit I'm willing to back him, obviously he's never going to reach the heights of what once was, but if he can play like he did during the crystal palace game many moons ago I'm all for it , he can actually carry the ball and pass , like to see him with ndiaye
