Here’s what I think anyway.
I think the deal we signed with Spurs is very messy. I truly believe Levy had something written into that contract to protect their investment and entitle them to some money if he was released on a free. God knows what that fee actually is. I think the reason we are trying to desperately to cling onto this is so we can get him fit to try and sell him on, so that we at least get something back onto our books for PSR in return. I’ve seen nothing at all to convince me otherwise, there’s something dodgy in that original deal we signed and it will all have to come out in the wash one day. A last parting gift from Kenwright I guess.
