What is up with Dele Alli?

My own speculation is that something very significant had occurred in his private life that has warranted him staying up north around some professionals including his team mates. I’m not sure I believe the stories he has suffered the amount of “injuries” we keep being told about, I’m sure they are just cover stories for his recovery from whatever had happened IMO.

Injury records based on publicly released information and speculation are not the same as specific detailed private medical histories are two very different things.

I would willingly bet any amount of money that there is no website showing fully detailed records of every injury or medical condition suffered by every professional footballer. There may be a few websites speculating or giving vague information based on publicly released knowledge.

Why not "DYOR" regarding Chermiti's injury since you seem to think all footballers injuries are released with full details? Or is just the calling card of someone flailing when being called on their nonsense?

I’d wager he’s spent at least as much time south of Watford junction as he has in Liverpool in the last 2 years.
 

Considering everything Dele has been through I think it's amazing he's reaching the point Everton could put on behind closed door friendlies to assess him getting a new contract, fair play to the lad. Will be completely honest I didn't like him under Lampard, thought he was workshy. In retrospect I'm surprised he even got on the pitch given what was going on physically and mentally to him. But in fairness what we didn't know back then was Lampard can't manage anything above Soccer Aid!!!

I mean, you have though, haven’t you? Many of us have encountered it thousands of times, we just don’t know we have because we’re not being obsessive little freaks about those specific instances.

On topic: Dele is crap. Do not sign.

Seriously though, it's a long way back for him now. In an ideal world, he'd go on loan somewhere if he ever does get fit, but then how do you loan a player out that you don't own? 😂

How do we honestly offer this lad any sort of contract that isn't just a nominal amount with big appearance bonuses?
