As much as I kind of like the name Bramley-Moore Dock, the history of John Bramley-Moore is not one we should be honouring. His family's involvment in the slave trade is well documented and we should distance ourselves from it.

A bit late on this one as the council have voted despite the slavery connections and although my guts crawl at the thought of one person owning and mistreating another ,it is time to move on .
It is said the wall was built to stop aid going in and that is disgusting but there are many places with names of infamous people .
