What would you take from the next 4 games

As said previously I’m just glad DBB is giving me my season ticket money back for this pile of Shoite
Expect 3 points maximum

After last night I am sure we are all deflated, annoyed or just mirroring the lack of energy shown by the team.

However, the next four games do give us the opportunity to correct the failings of recent weeks purely because we are playing the teams around us.

Friday 16 April - Home to Spurs
Friday 23 April - Away at Arsenal
Sat 1 May - Home to Villa
Sat 8 May - Away to West Ham

Obviously the last two dates may change with TV schedules but what would you all take from those bearing in mind how we looked last night?

I have two views on it which are that I think we will get about 4 points but I'd be happy with 7 as it still keeps Europe alive. I think anything less and Europe is definitely gone unless results go massively for us again which they have done a fair bit this year.
I'll take 12, because anything less just confirms what we've known for quite a while: these players are not good enough for a club with serious designs on top European competition.

None of it really matters as this is not proper football, that doesn't start till the crowds are back.
All I want for this season is the RS knocked out of the champions league asap.

Were inbeaten in 2 lads. Hopefully we can pick up 2 wins from the next 4.

I will remain positive despite Evertons best efforts to ruin my week on a weekly basis

Head !! says - Spurs loss; Arsenal loss, Villa draw, West Ham loss, = 1pt. That's on last nights showing and the thought of not getting a decent starting eleven back at each game.

Id be disappointed if we dont get 8pts...

My feeling is that Ancelotti will get the 3pts against Spurs and then we draw with Arsenal...draw with Villa and beat West Ham.
WOW !!!! Ancelotti will get the 8pts. Any TEAM he puts out needs a kick up the backside before kick off you mean. When's the last time Ancelotti played? ONE shot on goal against BRIGHTON { and that was deflected } and we are going to beat Spurs, draw away at Arsenal and beat Moysie at West Ham. Am having an early night with a crate of lager !!!!

What you have to remember is - There's not only us that hope to bring in top players over the next two windows. City, United, Chelsea, RS, Arsenal, Spurs, and even West Ham and Leicester will all be looking to strengthen. And the first five would attract the better player to join them before us for obvious reasons if they really wanted that player. So unless we got really lucky with what turn out to be terrific signings what Carlo and the board want or expect to pay, in theory we could still end up in roughly 8th / 9th position two seasons from now.

Yes, I agree, but what we definitely know is that the status quo leads to 9th place - the spot I've been saying we'll finish in all season - or thereabouts. Therefore, we have to change and our best chance is in the market with Carlo. As long as he is properly backed, I am confident we'll continue to improve. I don't think Leicester, West Ham, Arsenal, or Spurs are particularly likely to nail down a place ahead of us. All are vulnerable. No reason why, with proper backing, we couldn't be ahead of all of those next season. The bigger challenge will then be to jump ahead of one of City, United, Liverpool, and Chelsea.

City - Not a chance in hell. Chelsea and Utd have to much money and pulling power. RS - Possibility, if they don't get the signings they want.
