Whats the stupidest thing you have done, or seen, today?

I believe it's a judgement call on the boss of the radio control room.

Ie - if it's the early hours they don't pose a risk to the general public due to the roads being empty.

If it's day time, it's generally a no no.

What's mad, is that they all know of someone who has died from an accident on a motorbike.

I weren't sure on the actual laws mate but it's a crazy law.

Two lads turned up today on motorcross bikes without helmets, riding the streets of Warrington at 9.30am. We had to tell them about one of there mates dying the day before and they didn't seem bothered. Saying that think the police turned up and took the bikes off them.

They're from Warrington mate, they probably weren't their bikes anyway.

Don't think it's the law, just that the view is taken, that it's not worth the death of a young lad or a member of the public by chasing them.

Plus chasing them gives them kudos amongst their peers.

Ah right. We work closely with the police so will have to ask them sometime.

Amazes me how parents let kids young as 16 have them, and they ride on the road too.

In the car park in work an old fella reversed into the side of a silver jeep and left a massive dent in the panel, how he didn't see it behind him is beyond me.

Tried to settle it as well by only offering the owner of the other card £100. Some people....

Wednesday. Today is the free bus fare day for pensioners in Ottawa (should be everyday but that's another story). That means that approximately 10 Chinese pensioners will get off of the bus and instead of walking to the crosswalk like sensible human beings they will instead hold up the bus by walking in front of it and into oncoming traffic. They do this every Wednesday, one almost got hit a few weeks ago and it seemed like they had wised up to the dangers of walking into oncoming traffic, but alas they were back at it again today. Divvies.

Without wanting to sound racist, is this a chinese/asian thing? they never seem to have road sense what so ever from my experience

Well it is a "cultural" thing I think? They assume people will slam on the breaks for them because this isn't China where the liability laws are insane and the drivers even crazier. At least that's my take on it. It seems to be an age related thing, because this is the pensioners we're talking about. There's a couple of women in their early 50s who work in the same massive office building I do and they waited for the traffic to pass before crossing the road like normal people.
