When can we start to panic?

So, when can we start to panic about dropping into a relegation dogfight? And if a fight is what we get into, who are the players you'd want in the trenches with you?

We've lost 2 in the last 11 games.

What's there to panic about?

We got beat at Spurs where we normally get beat.
We got beat at City where we normally get beat.
We drew at home to Hull... a below average result, but then again, Hull have also drawn at Anfield this season and are awkward opponents.

Some people need to stop being daft and melodramatic. We're never going to win every game.

We're a little bit out of form and missing 2/3 key players that could really help us (Stones, McCarthy and Naismith).

No chance of relegation but for me, 4 wins in 15 and a team that has the likes of lukaku, mirallas, coleman, baines, Barry, mccarthy, barkley and eto'o in it should not be where we are.

Anything less than 6th is not good enough when you consider how poor spurs and the RS are but we are no better atm and it's frustrating as it's solely down to martinez and his naff team selections/tactics/poor substitutions in matches

Does that mean we should panic and/or fire Martinez?

Get in the bin!

Putting words in my mouth there lad. Seems to be a group of ex IMWT brigadiers around here defending their new cult leader so valiantly.

Do i think Martinez can turn things around? Maybe, but the fact he persists with the same team selections that are costing us week in week out screams of his 3 at the back for wigan where despite every man and his dog moaning against it he still persisted with it.

Giggles. IMWT? I waited 5 years for the ginger beaut to leave our club. You clearly know nothing of my past views, but carry on.

I don't think you have any idea to be honest. Back in the bin.

It's hilarious as your like a 16 year old fighting against "conformity" whilst wearing the same skinny jeans and sporting the same hair cut as all the "outcasts"

Your hatred for moist and his direct football has meant your grasping on to martinez as some sort of beacon of light, like a first love "he's the only one, I'll never love again!"

It's the same as the IMWT brigade did, terrified of returning to the dark days of the 90's so persisted with the "He's best for the job"

That's a beautiful pipe down, there.

I didn't hate Moyes, I felt it was time to move on. He did a job for us, but over stayed his welcome. Left on a real sour note too. Don't hate him though. He didn't play direct football in the last few years in any event, do you even watch football in that bin?

Martinez may not be the best for the job, point is he currently HAS the job, and needs a few years to make it his own and show he can win things. I'm optimistic he can, he's proven he can.

I'm not terrified of returning to the dark days of the 90s, that sounds like you ironically enough. There's so many crap teams in this league that it'd take something crazy for us to be relegated.

Not even going to go there on the personal comments, you're the conspiracy theorist with the giant ear piercings remember?
