It's rife with bad drugs, scrotes and tat shops. Not nearly as run down as Rhyl but the overall class of people there certainly has dropped (not that I am particularly classy myself).

My dad grew up in the same street as Alan Ball in Walkden. They used to have a kick about regularly in the street and amazingly he still used to play with his mates in the street after the world cup win.
He wouldn't ever being his winners medal out though. Don't blame him in Salford to be honest...
