You're right mate, was watching some recent gig of theirs on YouTube and I'd never noticed how outstanding he is and had never realised how iconic the basslines on a lot of their songs actually are.

The 80s in general LT. I grew up on prog rock and then the 80s came along and I just sort of took it for granted at the time. It's only later I realised just how good musically many of those bands were and how so many were driven by the bass.

You know what mate. I'm watching that and I'm thinking where's Dave Greenfield. So I googled him and didn't realise he died during covid. His keyboards were another driver for their music.
