Bored , not arsed , rather watch...... well hang on id rather not say but surfice to say I couldnt careless about the England team and their much over hyped jaunts . I actually did go to watch England once when they played in Rotterdam against Holland in the 94 world cup all important qualifier in which they predictably losed when Graham Taylor was in charge .

I am Everton through and through and about about as liberal a bloke as you"ll meet so when I came into contact with the right wing scum that used to follow England it put me off for life . For two days being surrounded by drunken fat blokes who liked nothing better than abusing anyone who didnt speak English was a nightmare and one id never EVER repeat .

Ill stick with Everton . Fcuk the England team

LMAO at Graham Taylor on the radio trying to justify this pointless match three days before the seaosn kicks off . I am not impressed with Lescott ( Thats putting it mildly ) but if he had picked up a knock tonight id have hit the sack seething .

Can't say I agree .
It's the England team that unites fans across the country , be it in the pub , at home , or at the match .
Yes , some of the supporters leave a lot to be desired , but it's the same with every club , and we're no angels ourselves .

I was gutted when we were'nt playing in the last competition , but we have a decent chance this time around .

It's great to be an Everton fan , but it's also cool to be a football fan , and if it puts smiles on peoples faces , then it can't be wrong .
 

err no, it's Scousers and wools who seem to hate England. But feel they have to rant about it. If you don't like England, don't watch them, but don't feel the need to make a song and dance about it each time they play. It's about as pointless as complaining about Kenwright.
 
I am an English man, and I support England. Then I back the rest of the Home Nations. (I am English and British)

My home team is Everton FC.

Where is the problem?

Club and Country play in separate Leagues. I hold them both in high esteem.

I can separate both, and support them both.

Such a shame too many people can not. But hey, maybe that is where personal pride(no matter how misplaced), and National pride has disappeared.

I am so glad I have not fell into that same bitter trap as many have.

So in answer to the thread question.

I care a huge amount about Ing-er-land(I prefer to call it England, and home). I have travelled and lived in many parts of the world, and I know my roots, and I am glad they are still there. I have loved, enjoyed, been educated and been gobsmacked by sights, sounds and people I have met on my travels, but home is home, and if I see people representing my "HOME" then I will support them(regardless of how overpaid some of the numpties are), they are our numpties.

I don't hate england, I just think international football rather adds unnecessarily to the clutter of the season & we could easily do without it. not too sure what the reference to scousers & wools is about, I thought we were all just Evertonians. why shouldn't people have a rant about anything they want if the fancy takes them? t'internet forum's a good place to do it & it's fairly easy to choose not to waste much of your time on a thread that doesn't interest you. it may be pointless, but so's your response & most if not all of the posts on this or any other forum. some might argue everything is pointless, one day we'll all be gone & none of it'll matter. it still doesn't change the fact that 3 people isn't much of a band-wagon - your witty picture's a bit over-crowded.
