Got to say , I'm a mad England Cricket Fan . Been going regular - evey year - for over 30 years . I must though admit , since Bally got jibbed , I've not really been a follower of the footy side .
Watched the first half but turned over for that Kim Cattrell , Lpool thing .
That's my commitment in a nutshell .

I'm with LCAB - Cricket is the absolute shaz-nick.

I happened to watch the game at me mates last night, I wasn't in the soberist of states...but one observation I did manage to make was...GLEN JOHNSON CAN'T DEFEND.

And I told you this. Again. I am right. Again.

;)

Ryan Babel is hardly the best as they come  Can't wait to see him disappoint with the ridiculous price tag that came with him.

By the way - I was gutted when Defoe scored to be honest.

I am a loyal follower of my national side, it is such a shame many are not in this country. I dont just want to here about England winning a World Cup, i want to see it for myself. If we do win something in my lifetime, i can hold my head up with pride knowing i never turned my back on them. Others dancing in the streets in celebration will have just crawled out of the wordwork akin to Liverpool fans did when they won the CL.

I am an English man, and I support England. Then I back the rest of the Home Nations. (I am English and British)

My home team is Everton FC.

Where is the problem?

Club and Country play in separate Leagues. I hold them both in high esteem.

I can separate both, and support them both.

Such a shame too many people can not. But hey, maybe that is where personal pride(no matter how misplaced), and National pride has disappeared.

I am so glad I have not fell into that same bitter trap as many have.

So in answer to the thread question.

"ME"

I care a huge amount about Ing-er-land(I prefer to call it England, and home). I have travelled and lived in many parts of the world, and I know my roots, and I am glad they are still there. I have loved, enjoyed, been educated and been gobsmacked by sights, sounds and people I have met on my travels, but home is home, and if I see people representing my "HOME" then I will support them(regardless of how overpaid some of the numpties are), they are our numpties.

"RANT OVER"

I likes this. Come on England.

All England's ever done for us is make our players either want to leave or 'kin go sh!t.

And that's in my life time...

Someone PM me when we start playing total football...might flick it on (y)

Bores the hell out of me, I used to really enjoy international football as a kid & I was really patriotic then but nowadays I have no interest in the England football team or patriotism, whether my feelings are linked or not is anyones guess, they probably are.

Haven't really got time to type an essay on both at the minute but keep this bumped so I remember & I'll explain my reasons why in case someones arsed

Your the one moaning at people who say they don't watch it....I don't think they do watch it. So stop getting a titty lip on about it (y)

I'm not moaning, I haven't started this thread. But I am proud of where I am from, and I love watching England. So of course I am going to say something about the subject.

Don't be so ridiculous.

People say they don't watch it and you pounce on them like a ravishing tiger.

Who is? Me? I'm English, don't make me scan my birth certificate in. Just because you want to be Scouse and you were born on the wrong side of the river.
