Honestly it was a tough choice for me.

I'd love to see "unfashionable" Uruguay win it but at the same time, I'd love to see Holland raise the Jules Rimet for the first time in their history.

I know there are some good Dutchies on this board but I cannot get behind that squad. So I guess I'm in the minority when I say anybody but Holland. I never finished the last 2 chapters of Brillant Orange so I must of missed the chapter: Cheating the Dutch way. They play crap footie and for the life of me besides Johnny H, I can't think of a player I like that much. I also despise Van Persie, DeJong, Kuyt, Robben, VanBrommel etal. I kind of want Germany to win just so I could watch them hand the Dutch their asses again in the final.

I'm not ashamed to say that Germany have totally won me over.

If they carry on like they have been playing they will go down as one of the all time greatest World Cup teams.

The best thing is their run has been pretty much as difficult as the draw could throw at them.
