These two criminals are to blame.

Kenwright effectively allowed the club to atrophy during his long tenure.
He didn’t begin the decline it had already started before Johnson arrived.
The main difference between Johnson and Kenwright ( apart from the fact that Johnson put silverware in the trophy cabinet), is that Johnson left when he realised he didnt have the money to allow Everton to compete at the top he left.
Kenwright by contrast clung on despite having no resources following his dispute with Gregg.
During that time the structure and ambition of the club was allowed to rot , he used Moyes as a fig leaf and payed him very well for it.
To be playing in the richest league in the world regularly finishing in the European places and yet have multiple seasons when there no money was available to the manage is a damning indictment of his ownership. When Trevor Birch abruptly left the club after a short period in office the writing was on the wall and too many ignored it.
Moshiri and Usmanov brought the money but like so many others failed to perceive and repair the damage that decades of benign neglect had done to the club.
Kenwright is by far the worst , least success chairman this club has ever had and the reason for that is Kenwright himself , may he be thrice damned and cursed !

We'd not be in this mess if we had Jack Rodwell-Tom Davies-Ross Barkley midfield!!!!
I wonder what would've become of Rodwell and Barkley had they not left too soon. Talented players who maybe got some bad advice. Davies is just the most average player in history. He lived off his start for far too long.

But we'd be prime Barcelona though...
With a Dier-Mustafi center-back partnership, 4th consecutive title here we come....

I hardly ever see any reference given to this. I remember at the time thinking what a great appointment this was, but he was only here 5 minutes. He obviously saw what a crap organisation we were, even then. And that was 19 years ago ffs!

Moshiri followed by Kenwright. Just the fact that Kenwright still has any influence at all after being effectively eliminated from the board speaks for itself. His “People’s Club” spiel was all a stunt and he is the reason we lost out on what City have now. At the end of the day though Moshiri is spectacularly incompetent and he had the money for several years to make a team and he couldn’t elevate us. He had blueprints and somehow came away with noprints.

As far as Everton are concerned there is absolutely nothing to be cheerful about at the moment
Yeah, but FFS the despondency is off the charts 'kin mad.

Maybe combine all the doom and gloom threads and have one 'BLEACH THREAD' so the bedwetters can knock themselves out.
