Who is the UK's best stand up comedian

Amongst my favourites are Peter Kaye, Bill Bailey, Phil Jupitus and Al Murray.

I can't stand the sight of Jimmy Carr, a dose has more comic value than he does but then it is all down to taste

For me, Ross Noble. All his DVDs are awesome and I've seen him live twice. The majority of his sets are improvised on the night, picking up on things the audience says and going off on tangents etc. Very, very funny.

Al Murray and Peter Kay are also very good though

agreed, although he's irish, he works a lot in the Uk and lives in Scotland.
