Who is the UK's best stand up comedian

Seen a lot of the up and comming comedians as my Son in law is one Jay Ryan and to be honest there are a few new guys who are good its the likes of Jimmy Tarbuck I hate and Frank Skinner is a complete [Poor language removed] back stage(y)

Anyhow, i've seen a few comedians in the last year or so. Jimmy Carrs gig was by far the best, Paddy Mcguiness was shamefully poor, and most recently i saw Bill Bailey at the MEN, not as good as his old stuff to be honest.
