I would have thought Osman or Pienaar to a promoted team but even if we sign a new #10 there are times when he will be injured I am sure. surely Gibson and Kone are just sucking up wages for next to nothing.

Possibly no-one. But we can't have our cake and eat it. Selling nobody dictates a holding pattern this season ('we go with what we've got'). I believe next season the extra TV revenue kicks in??...whilst that is not a competitive advantage relative to other PL clubs, if our international scouting resources cut the mustard, then we can then upon advance.

McGeady, just give him away ffs please.
This. So much this.

Also would like to see Kone gone. If an offer came in for Pienaar I think the time has come that we should probably take it; same with Barry (perhaps Villa might want him back?). Gibson.... I don't know. Genuinely torn, because I can see his quality but his injury record is appaling. If he was on a pay-as-you-play contract it would be obvious to keep him.

If we really need to sell in order to raise funds, I would prefer to see McCarthy go than Stones, Rom, Barkley or Mirallas. I like McCarthy every bit as much as the others and he is just as valuable to our on field performances as any of them, but I think a defensive midfielder is easier/cheaper to replace than a starting striker, a pacy goalscoring wide player or a young english starting standard CB, and I reckon we'd currently get more for McCarthy than Barkley.

Every decent player we have according to the media Coleman, Lukarku, Mirallas, MaCarthy, and Stones - we will have no team next year relegated before we start!

Osman and Pienaar will stay to provide stability and fill the gaps.
Kone would have little resale value.
Jury is still out (checking the X-rays) on Gibbo.
