Newcastle had a billionaire owner essentially bail them out. Yes they then had to buy well but they did. We are hamstrung by FFP and already have a championship level squad.
We will do well to stay up this year, we are more likely to be worrying about mid-table in the championship before we are the premier league. Unless we absolutely nail this appointment I think things are still potentially gonna get worse.

In all honesty apart from Carlo they've ended up as clowns. All the good ones are gone and we are now redipping into championship fodder management. If there was a reset button holy shizzle we'd be all pushing it right now. Squad/Board/Managers/Medical staff.. list is endless.
