My point is that being an international doesn’t make you a good player and I’m baffled that people are still using it as an argument in the year of our lord 2023.

Cherry picking 1 team out of 24 in a league isn't proof of anything.
Norwich essentially are in the PL every other season their finances dictate they can keep their International quality players hence why they always come back up as they're a level above the other teams in the championship.
Only PL fanboys/part time footie fans genuinely believe our squad is Championship standard as they watch Man City, Arsenal, Utd etc and talk hyperbole about the other sides - if you watch lower league football you'll see a big gulf between PL players and championship ones.
