My opinion is that Marcelino won’t handle the heat here.

Every role he’s had, have been smaller, ambitious clubs looking to make a move.

He did remarkably well at Villarreal, and steadied the ship at a struggling Valencia, but would get eaten alive at Goodison.

Huddersfield were down the bottom with about 5 players when he first went there, built a team from free transfers and loans and got them to the playoffs. The key thing with him for me is that he clearly makes average players better.

Yep, improves players and teams so far in his career, early days, but certainly seems like he gets teams playing.
