Who should replace Frank Lampard?

All I'm saying is that there is no appointment who is the standout for me, so it doesn't really matter if my own preferred option gets the job.

I have literally no idea who the right choice is and am usually wrong when I do have a preference. Tough job for whoever gets it
People will moan on here whoever gets it, that's what this place is for. They'll be supported at the games though, like they all have been. You can't really ask any more than that.

surely surely not Fat Sam. i mean come on we know he will be gone in the summer. And we can start recruiting our 8th manager in 6/7 years time. There are options out there so try them first

Mourinho id forgotten about...doubt he would come but always liked him.

Tedesco and Corboran (sp) the 2 attractive picks otherwise if Amorim / Gallardo arent known to the club.

Thelwell must know a lot of foreign names as he was part of redbull.

Bielsa doesn't join clubs mid-season as has already been established, there's no way he's coming to Everton. We've got Fat Samwich to look forward to.
Shame this wasn't the only time there's ever been an extra pre-season in winter, which might have convinced him to make an exception if we'd acted quickly. . .

. . .oh.

The choice of manager must be based on the direction the club wants to take, based on a long-term plan. E.g. is, there is little point in employing T Frank, if you do not buy the method at the same time. But here it is actually one man who has the answer, and that is the man with the 120 point plan, Kevin Thelwell. He is, after all, hired to transform the club.

The financial situation/Off the pitch footballing structure would surely put off any credible candidate. Take Thomas Frank for example. How could he give up that beautiful Brentford Eutopia for this. The only selling point is that they might see it as a stepping stone to a top job. If they are able to achieve anything close to stability at Everton it would be a feather in their caps for better jobs
