I don't hate him but I think he gets slightly overestimated as a manager by some. He had a good team at Everton also but I agree he probably over achieved by a few places but the next two seasons weren't great. If you want to see what he could do with money just look at his time with Belgium. Its a team full of superstars.
If you’re right, then he should have been sacked as soon as the World Cup started. If Moshiri, BK etc. had already decided then it is pure negligence again on their part.

How objective are you being …. Less than a season in charge of a team whose core has serially failed to raise its game . Keep doing what you’ve always done you keep getting the results you’ve always got. We need to change and that change is stability in the dressing room . The constant roundabout of managers is a major factor in the destabilisation of our club. No Lampard is not the best manager neither is he incompetent. He has his strengths. Stand firm and see it through

I do think Everton are capable of attracting world class managers, but at present I’d settle for someone capable of keeping us in the league.
But the more I see of Lampard and his flat back 10 tactics makes me think that he is not the man for the job, and that the affable cheeky cockney is taking us into the Championship with a smile on his face.
I’m not sure I buy into the excuses. I’m not sure this squad is as bad as what Kendall was dealing with in 97/98 and yet that’s what we are getting, if not worse. So I find it concerning when people act like Lampard is getting the absolute maximum out of the squad, and that it’s simply impossible for them to do any better. That Lampard is actually doing a fantastic job.
We should be managing more than 3 shots on target every 3 games. We shouldn’t be playing a flat back 10.

Agree 100% mate.
He should by now be starting to show at least the green shoots of improvement.
In the circumstances , the work in the last transfer window was good (although we should have got another striker in).
It is worrying that our attacking threat is actually diminishing as time progresses.
