Going back to a manager you fired and who rinsed you for money is insane. You could go sound out someone like Lucian Favre, but apparently Moshiri is out of ideas.
I kept hearing before that Rangnick should have been appointed and what great things he would do.
His spell so far at Utd is not inspiring.
It just isn't that easy to get the right manager.

As seen by our last...7 managers? For the most part they've chosen the least desirable option to supporters every single time too.

Whoever the next manager is, we've all got to get behind them and the team. If this hostility carries on around the club I really do fear we'll go down
Like to think I’m generally fairly even tempered but everyone has can be pushed too far and atm the club just seem to be run as rich men‘s toy set subject to erratic wims rather than as a professional business.

Obviously will support whoever is appointed, as I did for months with Benitez despite my initial misgivings anout his appointment, but I think some of the hostility is understandable given the frankly bizarre actions of the board.

I mean, I get the gist of what he is saying but it's a MUCH bigger club than Brighton. We're just a shambles tho to his other point and completely valid everywhere else in there. That's why he's being linked with us. It's not like us saying we should be targeting Klopp. Managers move upwards, only time they move downwards is when they are sacked.

Interesting point that. But.

Barcelona, Bayern, Man City? Could argue sommet there.

Newcastle, China? Similar.

But those exceptions prove your point.

Houghton got 40 and 36 points,
Potter 41 and 41 points on he back of what, 150M spend? (could be wrong)

On a run now of 2 wins in 15 so more than likely going to end up in the same 40-45 point zone.... I dont see a huge improvement in three years to be honest, and if he was comlpaining about the brighton fans being too harsh on him he will melt after five minutes at everton,.
They're on pace for 53 points?

I can't argue with the weather bit.

The new manager, if successful, is taking over a club that is football royalty as long as you don't believe the game was only first played twenty years ago.

The new manager could lead his team into an iconic new stadium in three years time.
Everton already have an even better training ground and in even in bad times can spend more than Brighton ever have.

I am not usually one for statistics but football is all about winning games.
These are the win percentages of recent Everton managers -
Moyes 42.05%
Martinez 42.86%
Koeman 41.38%
Allardyce 38.46%
Silva 40%
Ancolotti 46.27%
Benitez has just quite rightly been sacked with a win percentage of just 31.8%

Yet people are voting for Graham Potter who has a win rate of 28.4%

I despair ?
Martinez’s win percentage here is massively skewed by the very good first season we had under him, right after he came in and had the benefit of defenders who up until the end of the previous season had been well trained in how to actually defend.

During his second and third season here those results fell off a cliff. Fan’s weren’t protesting towards the end of his reign just for the hell of it mate.
