Give that a quick read, pal. Or even an extended one. If you cba, he likes a 4-4-2 or 3-4-2-1 depending on the opposition. The latter formation is what really worked for him at Frankfurt.
Didnt he bomb at Munich?

Think he can work here with the players we havr?

The club have made it so hard for yet another person coming in.

It's hard to know what type of manager to go for, let alone one that might be available.

Unless and until the club is run by competent, driven professionals, we will just continue to have the same problems.

One wonders how many more throws of the dice we will have the luxury of before disaster finally strikes.

We could do worse than Kovac alright, he would certainly be of the home truths variety with the players.

The 'problem' I have with Dunc is he's a 'Mr Chairman' guy and that's one of the biggest issues with the business right now, so he'd just inflate egos and keep these leaches hanging on even longer.

The £100+m he spent was in the summer after his first full season, in which he got Chelsea into the champions league, and an FA cup final. He signed Ziyech, Havertz, Werner, Chilwell and keeper Mendy. All are still an integral part of Tuchels Chelsea squad.

Who would you choose?
For a up and coming manager Lampard has a lot of experience. Playoffs, FA Cup final, and top 4 within a few years. More than Koeman, or Silva ever had.
I’d take him over some of the other names mentioned.
I don’t trust our club to appoint anyone half decent, I fully expect a Nuno, or a foreign coach we’ve never even heard of.

Just think most important thing is that the new manager wont really have tome to bring any players in so will have to work with whats here

Director of Football related, as Dan Ashworth of Brighton who got the Magpies job, personally on first search who are likely gettable I would be drawn to Stuart Webber at Norwich and Phil Giles at Brentford (who were both connected to the Newcastle job). Along with maybe academy director Jason Wilcox at Manchester City. Not sure Everton would have interest in an international name post Brands or who else might move domestically.

Considering the importance of that role in how it effects a manager selection, would be curious if more have names worth considering that are feasible?
Dan Ashworth has not gone to Newcastle! He's had interview and that's as much as anyone knows. He may or may not take the job IF offered but Brighton are not going to allow him to leave until transfer window shuts until end of month. Would rather see him at yours rather than Dirty money FC but looking from the outside in I would say your problems start higher up!!!
