I think it will be Duncan but out of a whole host of limited candidates, I'd go for Lampard.

If we are intent on not spending much then he could use his contacts at Chelsea to get us a couple of loans for the second half of the season.
He's got a point to prove, he carries a reputation and is an intelligent guy. He would be able to get the crowd on side.

He's also free which I think will be a massive bearing on the decision.

Id love Moyes but fear it unrealistic right now.

This was me on 12th December and I stand by it.
Frank's the man.

My top 3 choices based on who we are linked with are.

1). Kovak - Would definitely be the most popular choice for supporters.

2). and 3). Rooney and Lampard. Rooney would probably get the best support from supporters and players, however Lampard has more experience in the PL.

Just get one of these Moshi and stop mucking about with dodgy football advisors for once in your life.

Convinced that Maddocks chats utter wham, but im gonna cling onto that #Copium.

Maddock is clueless mate. An utter charlatan.

Look at his words on Pereira: basically spinning from nothing that Moshiri's hand is stayed for 24 hours while the club try and rush forward another interim manager as an alternative.

The feller's a Billy Liar.

I only trust Fab these days Dave, if it aint Fab it goes in the bin.

The amount of people that said Vitor was done suggests to me that he will be appointed ASAP, but its an ever changing landscape.

Honestly, Fab's a bit of a charlatan too. But he's good at it and it gets him good dosh so fair play to him.

Yer man John Percy is the best in the biz atm but his main focus is midland clubs. Decent fella, proper journalist not a sensationalist with transfer stories (not that there's anything wrong with that).

But yeah, suppose unless we do appoint Rooney then he's not gonna be any use lol
