Far all the talk of him, it doesn’t look like we’ve ever officially spoken to Rooney about the job.

Hope...when he relegated 1860 Munchen in that same timescale? With the talk of Adi Hutter on the brink at BMG. I'm warming to a Pereira 6 month deal in hopes of safety and them circling back to the unfortunately named AH
He could be, we have to give him a chanceBefore Benitez was appointed the club wouldn't have thought about approaching a low-experience Lampard to lead us into the Champions League.
Now that he's available and essentially the cheapest option, they've allowed Pereira to hang himself out to dry so that Lampard looks a more and more attractive proposition by the hour.
By tomorrow, our fans will be frothing at the mouths, thinking that Lampard is the second coming of Howard Kendall.
Dont be a tit lad.So if the board and Moshiri decide to rehire Rafael Benitez the fans need to give full support to him?
He’s Croatian. That’s what happens over there when they like a manger. We probably asked him if he was interested, and he ran a mile away like any other decent self respecting manager would from a club that has fired five managers in five years, has a crazy owner, and fans graffiti the stadium on the back of a rumoured new manager joining.
Meh people are clinging on to this 1860 relegation when absolutely none of us watched a minute of them. It's not like they've basked in success before or since his arrival. They were in the same relegation playoffs the season before and have never got promoted back since.Hope...when he relegated 1860 Munchen in that same timescale?
Reports recently suggested that the board eventually agreed that he was still too inexperienced and swerved.Far all the talk of him, it doesn’t look like we’ve ever officially spoken to Rooney about the job.
What's he done in the last ten years to deserve the Everton job though?Meh people are clinging on to this 1860 relegation when absolutely none of us watched a minute of them. Nothing m8 but it's a 2 horse race between him and Lampard (who has also done nothing in his career bar having the future champions of Europe in midtable) so I'd rather have pereira on a 6 month deal than Lampard on a 2.5 year deal when both are not likely to work long term. What's he done in the last ten years to deserve the Everton job though?

They were closer to 1st on points when Lampard was sacked than where Tuchel has them now.
Lampard clearly has more experience in English football and is a well respected figure amongst other players due to his achievements. That alone gives him an edge over a guy who won league titles in Portugal a decade ago and a title in the tinpot Greek league.
Probably because that would give you an idea of how lucky or unlucky they were and how he played with them outside of just he took them down so he was clearly bad. We don't know if he improved their plat or not.Not sure how watching them is relevant.
He couldn’t save a second division German side who weren’t actually in the relegation zone we he joined, he took them backwards.
There’s zero evidence he’s fit to be Everton manager, facing a very similar situation but with much more pressure and players who have significantly more power than players have for a second division German team.
