I dont know whay you have to ask that. EVERY manager we emply has always had a season without a call for their head from me.

I mean, if Lampard had any sense he'd have to think about this. We're Everton after all and he will know the board room and owner's are clueless.

Yeah but unless they've offered him £20 a week he'd be mad to turn it down especially as he has been trying to get back into footy. Of all the jobs he could get offered i would say we are about as big a club that would offer him the position as well.

Our team is crap at defending and we are about to hire a manager who doesn’t have a clue how to set up a defence and only has a year of managing at a premier league level (which resulted in him getting the sack). Was this really the best appointment we could make given them circumstances?

All the guys who have publicly turned down the job, including Rooney and Potter and Pulis, are all poor or unproven managers anyway.

I’d rather Dunc than Pulis or Rooney. And Potter has lost 40% of his matches since becoming Brighton manager!
