I gather Lampard used to "stay behind" after training to practise different things.

Maybe he'll try and persuade our squad to adopt a similar attitude.

I've been watching the Youtube videos of us training and they make quite depressing viewing with the guys emerging from the changing rooms shivering into the cold light of day.

If I was manager I'd put a stop to that kind of coverage.

Then again, if I was manager we'd soon be facing the likes of Reading every week.

The arsing around over this appointment really encapsulates the joke that this club has become. He’s either got the job or he hasn’t. Having to wait a further 24 hours with the transfer window closing sums it all up.

Less then zero chance Kenny is sacked, he is signing a new deal until after 2024 Euro's. Chelsea gave Barry permission to take it on so will be interesting if Everton ask him to walk away or are happy for him to stay on. He has done an excellent job with us tbf

Both tried to do the same role. International football is a possession game and both ultimately wanted to be the person playing a searching pass and then getting into the box on the end of it. A brave manager would have picked one of them then out Scholes and Carrick behind them to actually control the tempo. No manager had the stones to drop one of them.
