Why do Evertonians hate on ITKs?

Just don’t get the worship personally.

You go on Twitter and most of my timeline are absolutely losing their head over our “ITK’s” posting stories.

Yet 9/10 times they post hours after, like 90mins etc.

Im sure they’re decent people, I’m sure they may get information, I just don’t get why everyone takes what they’ve said as gospel.

But maybe that’s because Twitter is a dreadful place, Everton Twitter especially.

I’ll take the McNeil story, there wasn’t a peep from any “ITK’s” until Percy broke the news. Then Romano tweeted about it, and got credit despite it coming from Hunter, at the Guardian.

Sure they’re all nice people, just don’t get why they’re glamourised by a large portion of Everton Twitter.

I think they hate on them because every time they go a couple stops down the sidewalk and check in at the grocery store real quick they realise they only got chump change to pay for their soda.

Taking away the fake ITKs, and I’ve no idea why someone would even do that, we’ve had some fine ITKs keeping the fans up to date over the years yet I see scorn and nastiness to nearly all of them.

Is it because some surround them in a bubble of pessimism to protect their vulnerability, plan jealousy or something darker?

Dunno lid; why do some people like to cause conflict? One of life's mysteries.

My one ITK moment was many years back and my uncle met Gary Naysmith in the airport. He asked would he be staying and he said no he was leaving for Sheffield United.

I shared it on Bluekipper, got absolutely slated and not long after he signed for Sheffield United.

If you were in the know you'd know why people hate on people that are in the know but you'd run the risk of people hating on you for being in the know.

What I like best though, are the ITK groupies, who stick up for their chosen ITK. They back them up in internet fights and sometimes PM them saying ‘don’t listen to the haters mate. You’re a top poster. If you ever get any info you can always just PM me it as well. Would you like a nudie of my wife?’
