Why do people say that having BT compete with Sky is a good thing ?

BT n setanta package is less than half the monthly price of Sky on cable over here. Koff Sky with their Stevie Me documentaries and their Ched Evans should never play again tripe

There all gash, Sky at least have decent coverage but analysis is garbage, Imtried to watch a game on ESPN once and am still in Thearpy after the Keegan and Barnes half time analysis.

There seems to be a bit of a deal between BBC and BT at the moment. BT's darts coverage seems to be borrowed from the BBC and the BBC FA cup clips online are from the BT broadcasts. Don't know what this means in terms of competing against Sky but I doubt it will mean more football on the telly cheaper. The benefits of the free market just keep adding up......
