Why I think Everton will stay up

I'm sick of hearing Everton fans relegating us when we';re 1 point away from safety with 19 games to go.

FFS, get shut of this arsehole in the manager's dugout and even the players we have now can get us safe with a fair wind behind them.
We got a point away at city, so if a few performances like that end up as wins, we could shoot up the table easily I agree , but the board IMO need to sell up ASAP....

If we sign a striker of any quality we'll stay up.

I'll put off putting us in the Championship until the window shuts and we haven't added one.

This club's problems are relatively easy to fix and always have been this season. It takes good scouting and a good bit of negotiation.
AND replace Frank Lampard.

We'll stay up.

Indeed.

Should have had all three points against RS.

Should have been a couple up at Spurs before a penno gifted them the lead.

We deffo have something more in the locker.

I ain’t giving up.

I agree with fans relegating us now is madness BUT the manager isn't solely to blame mate. He's signed 7 players and 4 of those are first team players, the others are young players who needed bedding in and 1 player Maupay who was a panic buy to fill DCL shoes. He wouldn't have envisioned us been in a relegation battle this season so those young players would have been brought in gradually throughout the season to stake a claim. The players are still playing for him but some of them are braindead. Does he make Godfrey jump in on Ward-Proswe or does he tell Gordon to commit a stupid foul on the edge of the box, no he doesn't. People will obviously disagree but IDGAF, Lampard needs more time.

Of course they do and the owner...but we have a fight to stay in the PL in the coming months.

Using energy up on that is not what we require.

How anyone cant see that i dont know.

The death cultists are more concerned about getting shut of a board that's defunct and making no decisions anyway.

We’ve got 2 points since the end of October and one win in what 13 , I don’t disagree Joe that things can change but we aren’t really being unlucky we’re being poor and a backs to the wall performance against a city team who’ve only won half their last 8 fixtures isn’t a bench mark that results are around the corner .

Yes, but Lampard has his share of the blame here. Most of it. We've lost precious points because he cant see obvious stuff happening in-game. And I'm talking about stuff like holding out for draws and not losing by going for it and leaving us wide open rather than winning from those situations.

You get rid of Lampard then you get Dyche. I am still in the Lampard camp. Maybe it's blind faith and a bit of naivety. Fan power started this mess when they wanted Martinez sacked. We were 12th with two semi finals that year. Should have stuck with him for at least another season at least. Then we have been declining ever since.

Mate...I was in the Lampard camp until the Wolves game. Very much so. Even after the result against City I thought he *might* have learned a lesson. But then Brighton sealed it for me.

This feller WILL take us down.

Another manager even with no additions gets us a good few more points than this feller Lampard.

He's defeated and he's shown it today. He's been told he's down the road IMO. He should never have been handed this game.

The Brighton game was Naive I will give you that. Should have stuck to the city game plan. I will probably be in the same position as you come Saturday evening if we lose. He's still the man for me given the alternatives.
