Why is America so ace?

They have an economy that isn't utterly buttf*cked. Look at the price of petrol over there, or food, or houses, or land. And they have decent waiters ffs.

I'd move to Colorado in a heartbeat if it weren't for the fact that English law degrees aren't valid in the States..

There's so much to do. I've spent some time there and I like the geographical diversity and how big the place is.

I like the people. I know how some don't get them but I reckon it helps staying there. An American friend of mine once said "we make far better hosts than we do guests" and I hadn't been there then but when I did I always remember her for saying that as it's spot on. If you go as a tourist or visitor there the interaction with the people makes it. Compared to us they're so much more positive and I unashamedly like it.

The food is ace, the beer is piss, the cars are super. It has for me the greatest city in the entire world in New York City. And people are friendly. I love where I'm from and I'm from an amazing city, but I'd happily settle in the States. That's about the biggest compliment I can give it.

Obviously each to their own.

ERR IT'S SH!TE LADS.

AS A SWEEPING GENERALISATION AMERICANS ARE INSULAR, SELF OBSESSED AND OBNOXIOUS.

*American members of GOT and Everton supporters are obviously not included in this generalisation, apologies extended to any of whom may feel offended by this sweeping generalisation but I have to say if this tit is a yank then you boys need to hunt him down and defend yourselves all over his ass.
