Looking at his record for Vitesse (53 apps 31 goals), he could be a very useful signing for us if he could replicate that form. But strikers from the Dutch league very much tend to be hit and miss so would be surprised to see him here. Plus Newcastle would be willing to pay Vitesse more and higher wages if they are in for him.

A box to box midfielder sounded very good Imo. I´m not sure we need another striker that can´t score goals. we have 3 already. I hope Moyes will come up with someone that can relief Neville of his midfield duties, the sooner the better.

Have heard we have some interest in Wilfried Bony, striker who plays for Vitesse(?) either loan with option to buy or another drip deal.

What's your source? Is like to believe what you're saying as it sounds promising but I'm getting weary of this transfer window and all the rumours!
