I think the thing that makes this one a go’er is that we already agreed terms and all that jazz and he wants to come here. Feeling we are all about to beg the club to offer £30m+ for a player that about three days ago we were touchy about upping the offer to £20m due to being desperate for a striker, just because we are a bit bored.
Given it’s going to be hard to reintegrate him, if they are worried his value is going to explode over the next 2 years, I imagine a sell-on % will resolve this.
