They have a ton of debt and from what I read despite fliriting with relegation the past few years they never budgeted with the idea they'd be relegated. They have a ton of players like Viduka and Barton that make upwards of 60K/week. Anyone competent will have to given away on a free with the club eating some of the wages. They are in as bad as shape as Leeds are.
 

I think there will be players leaving. I recall reading that there could be money problems if they were relegated and even possibly going into administration. Time will tell.

However they will still be able to have Derby games with Middlesborough.:lol:
 

Wont be back up next season. Its a complete overhaul of the squad, the club, the board...everything.

Wont happen overnight.

They really are in deep trouble by the looks of it. Years and years of mismanagement have finally caught up with them. Can't say I feel the least bit sorry for them.(n)
 
Kevin Nolan must be gutted. Imagine moving to a supposed bigger club as you think the one you are at is going to get relegated. And then they stay up and you go down. I hope the paycheck is worth it.
